Morning arrival at Delhi airport/railway station transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi visit Red Fort (Close on Monday), Jama Masjid, drive past Chandni Chowk and visit Raj Ghat- the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Sightseeing tour of New Delhi – visit Qutab Minar- 234 feet high tower, nearby stands the Iron pillar, the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun and the modern Birla Mandir Temple. Drive past India Gate (War Memorial), President’s House which was once the Viceroy’s Palace, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Agra (205 km / 4 hours drive). En route stop at Sikandra to see Akbar’s tomb (Time permitting). Check in at your hotel on arrival. Afternoon visit to the monument of love The Taj Mahal (Close on Friday). Later visit the Agra Fort with its exquisitely rich palaces. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel drive from Agra to Jaipur (5 hours). Stop en route to visit Ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrival Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Morning – excursion to Amber Fort where you will ride on Elephant’s back (Optional) uphill to reach the ramparts of the Fort. Afternoon – tour of Jaipur, popularly known as “The Pink City of Rajasthan”. Visit to Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in the 1700’s and yet even today, looks futuristic. Visit to City Palace and its Museum and the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Delhi airport/railway station in time to board flight/train for onward destination.
